Rhea of Hope Foundation is a network of women and men dedicated to fostering and supporting the societal and personal development of girls, adolescents, and young women.

Mission

The Rhea of Hope Foundation, Inc. was founded for the sole purpose of supporting underserved, at-risk adolescent and young women through group mentoring, coaching, and exposure to a wide array of cultural, intellectual, spiritual, psychological, and economic experiences.

A Message From Our Founder
Dr. Alvenia Rhea Albright

Rhea of Hope Foundation exist to support underserved at-risk girls, adolescent and young adult females. We provide mentoring support, career coaching, broader and enhanced cultural and academic exposure. These services create the Hope needed to ensure girls understand the necessity to seek and achieve academic and career success throughout their life journeys.

This is achieved by touching “one life at a time, one day at a time” which is our guiding principle. We feel all of our girls, especially those who are under-exposed and at risk, should learn to internalize Hope and seize the opportunity to achieve a productive and successful life. We know that all girls need a “listening ear” and an uplifting and encouraging friend. Most importantly they need a voice that instills an “I Can” attitude, despite past hardships and a challenging future. Indeed, we know they, like many of us, can achieve anything with Hope and hard work! This is the HOPE that Rhea of Hope Foundation seeks to give and instill in our girls.
